Natural language → machine-ready G-code

A practical AI interface that replaced CAD preparation for more than 95% of foam-cutting jobs.

Concrete Strength Forecasting Dashboard

Test results → shipment-readiness forecasts

I turned concrete cylinder-break data into a visual decision tool for tracking strength gain, spotting failed tests, and estimating when products would be ready to ship.

Automated PDF Production-Schedule Pipeline

Daily PDFs → structured production data

I built an automated AWS pipeline that finds production documents, extracts and validates schedule data, and loads it into PostgreSQL for dashboards, reporting, and AI-powered retrieval.

Android DOT Inspection App & Dashboard

Field inspection → real-time plant visibility

I built a connected DOT inspection system that replaced paper checklists—which could be lost or delayed—with fast, structured data collection in the yard. Inspectors could scan or enter an item, record whether it passed, and quickly capture the reason when it did not.

The app eliminated paper checklists that could get lost and made it possible to collect data quickly while inspections were happening. I could log which items passed, identify the ones that did not, and record the reason in seconds. The results were shared with the whole team through the dashboard, and the structured failure data could later be turned into Pareto charts showing our most common failure points.

Inspect on the flyProduct information appears immediately after lookup, so the inspector can record the result, location, and details without returning to a paper checklist.

The things that keep me
moving and curious.

01

Distance running

I’ve been a distance runner for more than a decade. Marathons and endurance sports have shaped how I think about consistency, patience, and long-term improvement.

02

Languages & travel

Russian has taken me from Virginia Tech to an intensive immersion year in Almaty, with time living and studying across Kazakhstan, Latvia, and Estonia.

Open story

Language learning is one of my favorite forms of problem solving: part pattern recognition, part cultural context, and always a reason to stay curious.

03

Chess

I enjoy the balance of calculation, pattern recognition, and creative problem solving—and the fact that there is always another layer to learn.

01 / About Me

Portrait of Jack Bosley

Start with the work.
Build what helps.

I tend to notice inefficient processes and immediately start thinking about how they could work better.

My background is on the manufacturing floor, where I learned that the best systems begin with understanding how people actually work. What started as quality and operations work quickly grew into building Android apps, dashboards, data pipelines, machine-learning tools, and AI systems to solve the problems I saw around me.

I enjoy owning the whole path from observation to adoption: learning a workflow, listening to the people inside it, designing a practical solution, building it, and helping people use it. The technology changes from project to project; the goal stays the same—make information easier to reach, decisions easier to make, and work easier to do well.

I studied Business Management and Russian at Virginia Tech, then spent nine months in Almaty, Kazakhstan, completing an intensive Russian-language immersion program. Outside of work, I’m a longtime distance runner. Both experiences have shaped how I approach unfamiliar problems: stay curious, keep moving, and improve through consistent effort.
